We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Creative Reuse Center Hours: Monday through Saturday, 11am to 6pm and Sunday, 12 to 5pm
Donation Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm (No donations on Sunday and Monday).

SCRAP offers educational programming to teach children about sustainability and resourcefullness through art.
Last year SCRAP volunteers contributed over 18,000 hours of their time and energy to help us fulfill our mission. Most volunteers are scheduled for one 3-hour shift in the store each week, as well help in many other ways.

Ever wanted to learn how to make your own books? Come learn how to make some small creative books with repurposed materials from unique and varied materials at SCRAP.We will learn how to make zines, accordion books, and so much more.
Bookmaking can be used for all different types of books including sketch books, art pieces, memory books, books for your poetry, and many other creative things.

Designer Registration for Solo Designers for Trashion Fashion 2020!
Solo Designer Registration
Register for the 2020 Trashion Fashion program, a collaborative community project that promotes resource conservation through art. The Denton Trashion Fashion program is an award-winning, comprehensive fashion design competition for all ages. Designers create wearable art made of items destined for the landfill or recycling. Participants become knowledgeable about problems associated with waste generation and then express them through fashion and artistic design!
Trashion Fashion Runway Show at noon on Saturday, April 4, 2020, on the main outdoor stage at the Keep Denton Beautiful’s Denton Redbud Festival. The Redbud Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St. Denton, TX 76201 and will host more than 60 booths featuring tree and plant sales, gardening products, landscaping and home improvement items, children’s environmental exhibits and activities, live music, and fun festival foods. Admission to the Redbud Festival is free.

Designers will be contacted with information for meetings, workshops, and photo shoots.
